Karnataka State Film Awardees '06

2006-06 Karnataka State Film Awards are to be announced at 3.30 PM at chief minister office Krishna. According to the reliable sources Chitraloka announces some of the awards

The Girish Kasaravalli directed film Naie Neralu has bagged the Best Kannada Film award. Rathnanja directed film Nenapirali gets the second best film award while the third Best film award goes to Nagathihalli. Senior Actress Jayanthyi has been selected for eth prestigious Dr. Rajkumar award for which she will get Rs 100,00 in cash and Director V. Ravichandran has been awardedhe Puttanna Kanagal award, which carries Rs one lakh cash. The Special Award For Life Time Contribution goes to senior cinematographer S. Ramachandra.
