Come August 4, the Varamahalakshmi day the auspicious festival season beginning. One big venture M.S.Chitrlaya's Gandugali Kumara Rama Rs.8 crore film the 50 th of top director Bhargava is releasing in a grand scale. Gurukiran's musical scores are already hit of this film starring Shivarajkumar, Srinivasamurthy, Laila and Rambha in lead roles.

Last year on the same Varahamalakshmi day August 19, 2005 Shivarajkumar's Jogi directed by Prema that is once again the musical scoring of Gurukiran has been a massive hit.

Prior to this year Varamahalakshmi day in August 2004 Aptha Mithra starring Dr.Vishnu, Ramesh Aravind, Soundarya and Prema was released and that is also once again a mega hit film.

The specialty of this year Varamahalakshmi festival is that Preethi Yeke Bhoomi Melidhe of Ashwini productions starring director Prem as hero is launching in a big scale.

Rajanikanth is expected to come for the muhurth of this film.
