Actor cum director Sudeep must be heaving a deep sigh of relief, as his film 73, Shanthi Nivasa has got clean certificate from the censor board and is now ready for release. Everybody associated with the film including the artistes and technicians can't stop talking of the talents, humility and large-heartedness of Sudeep and his entire family members.
Speaker after speaker which included veterans like Srinivasa Murthy, Ramesh Bhat, R.G. Vijayasarathy, Murthy to rank new comers like Deepu and Deepa (she has already acted in a few films including Sudeep directed My Autograph) spoke highly of the commitment and single-minded focus shown by Sudeep in directing this film. And the ever-smiling Komal who plays an important role in the film said that it was a new experience for him to work with a director like Sudeep who was not only a big actor but also a very sensitive director.
His close friend Arun Sagar who is playing a significant role in the film said that Kannada film industry needs more people like Sudeep to elevate it to high standards. Senior actor Master Hirannaiah who joined the party later was also appreciative of Sudeep and said that 73, Shanthi Nivasa may well be his best film and he had to really toil hard to give such a performance. Anu Prabhakar also said that she had a cute role and added that it was a great learning experience for her to act in a film directed and acted by Sudeep.
Srinivasa Murthy, Ramesh Bhat and Anu Prabhakar who have seen the film said that the quality of 73, Shanthi Nivasa is mind-blowing. They added that Sudeep has done wonders in creating a best product that would be spoken in the industry for many years.
Art director Dinesh Mangalore and Lyricist K. Kalyan were also thrilled after seeing the film. Kalyan said that Sudeep has a great knowledge of Kannada literature and his inspiration made him to write many good songs for the film.
