501 fans donate eyes

Coinciding with the first death anniversary of Dr. Raj Kumar, five hundred and one fans of the Kannada icon will be signing certificates indicating their decisions to donate their eyes. This function will be organised by Shivaraj Kumar fans association. Many fans associations have decided to have take out a procession to the Dr. Raj Samadhi near the Kanteerava Studios.

There are some fans associations like the one in Jayanagar which is organising a big function in the Jayanagar Complex. And the fans will be marching towards the Samadhi. Ten thousand curd packets will be distributed to the fans. Dr Raj Kumar's family has also organised food distribution for around ten thousand fans who are visiting the Samadhi. Bangalore Mahanagara paalike arranged for the barricades, shamiyanas near the Raj Samadhi. The VIP visitors can visit the Samadhi and they can sit on the chairs. For all the other visitors carpets will be available for meditation and prayers.

Bangalore city police are expecting about 10000 Raj fans tomorrow at the Samadhi. Security arrangements are very tight to avoid any untoward incident that occurred last year. Nearly 1000 police persons will be deputed at the Raj Samadhi. 1 platoon of RAF will be there near ring road, 3 KSRP, 3 ACP, 20 Police Inspector, 35 Sub Inspector, 50 ASI will do there duty tomorrow near Raj Samadhi. 350 constables will be near the Samadhi to control the crowd.
