Duniya attracts Vijay too

Kannada film Duniya has already won immense praise from the super star Rajini Kanth. He liked the action scenes and the presentation of the film so much that he expressed a desire to meet the cast and the crew of the film. When the film's crew Soori, Vijay and Chandru went to meet him in Chennai, he welcomed them, praised the movie, and even described the most minute details of the sequences he liked the most. Praise from Rajini is a praise indeed! Now it is Vijay, who has applauded the film and wishes to remake the same in Tamil.

Two days ago, he watched the movie in a preview theater and was impressed with the presentation style and the treatment to the story given by a debutant director.Sources say that the box office star Vijay forced his producers to purchase the rights for the film immediately. Unconfirmed reports say that Udayanithi, the producer of Vijay's next film after Azhagiya Tamil Magan has got the rights for the film.

It is interesting to note that the recent block busters of Tamil film industry, including Chandramukhi and Pokkiri, are only the remakes of other southern language films.
