What
is
the
definition
of
beauty?
Which
is
important
to
life?
Is
it
internal
beauty
or
the
external
beauty?
These
are
the
questions
that
would
come
up
when
Soundarya
directed
by
Channagangappa
would
be
released,
says
Music
director
Hamsalekha
who
was
all
in
praise
of
the
director
for
making
a
superb
film
with
all
the
necessary
ingredients
without
compromising
on
the
artistic
values
of
the
film.
"Why
I
am
referring
this
matter
is
to
underline
that
the
Heroine
of
the
film
may
look
good
and
may
be
beautifully,
but
she
did
show
her
ugly
face
and
her
internal
'beauty'
during
the
shooting
of
this
film'
Hamsalekha
jokingly
said
in
a
press
conference
organised
after
the
completion
of
the
shooting
of
Soundarya.
Ramachandra,
one
of
the
producers
of
the
film,
Actor
Ramesh
Arvind,
Child
Artist
Shreya
and
Director
Channagangappa
were
present
at
the
press
conference.
Channagangappa
said
that
he
had
obtained
lot
of
support
from
Music
and
lyric
writer
Hamsalekha
during
the
making
of
the
film.
"My
association
with
him
started
when
both
of
us
worked
on
a
subject
titled
as
"Agochara'.
The
film
should
have
started
earlier,
but
we
did
get
perfect
locations,
the
weather
conditions
were
not
conducive
to
make
this
film
in
the
interiors
of
Malnad
area.
Then
suddenly
this
idea
of
making
this
film
came
to
me.
I
was
working
in
the
Home
department
in
1997-98
when
I
use
to
get
files
which
told
some
horror
stories
which
were
really
threatening.
I
was
able
to
see
many
tragic
incidents
which
related
stories
of
how
some
unconnected
elements
would
spoil
a
happy
family
life.
I
scripted
a
family
story
which
did
have
some
thrilling
elements
with
the
background
of
crime.
The
story
shaped
up
well
and
when
I
got
a
positive
response
when
I
discussed
the
story
with
Hamsalekha
and
Ramesh.
I
started
shooting
of
the
film
on
May
3
and
now
the
film
is
almost
finished
with
only
a
day's
patch
work
pending.
Baby
Shreya
is
participating
in
the
remaining
shooting.
I
have
shot
the
film
for
42
days'
said
Channagangappa.
He
also
said
that
the
story
board
concept
has
been
used
for
the
first
time
in
the
Kannada
film
industry
through
this
film.
Ramachandra
and
Hamsalekha
appreciated
the
efforts
of
Channagangappa
in
making
the
film
which
is
certain
to
please
all
sections
of
the
audience.
Ramachandra
said
that
the
song
"Hrudaya
Haadu
Kelu' is
bound
to
become
a
chart
buster.
"Channagangappa
has
lots
of
commitment.
Hamsalekha
sir
has
recorded
five
fantastic
songs
of
the
film.
He
has
taken
nearly
21
days
for
the
re-recording
work,
but
none
of
us
are
complaining,
because
it
is
exceptional.
The
sound
design
of
this
film
will
be
something
special,
and
Mr.
Bharani,
an
expert
in
the
sound
department
is
involved
in
this
work.
Channagangappa
has
taken
maximum
interest
in
creating
a
different
type
of
film.
I
am
fully
satisfied
with
the
work
I
have
done
in
this
film.
I
am
sure
every
other
artist
and
technician
will
say
the
same
thing'
says
Ramesh
Arvind.
