Ramya clears the air

Rumours were rife that veteran actress Ramya has been declining offers from Kannada, and is more interested in Tamil films. Talking to reporters during the shoot of Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids, her film with Upendra, Ramya said that she refused offers from Kannada only due to date problems.

She declined the offer to play the female lead in Ravi Belagere"s upcoming film, Mukyamanthri I Love You, because she did not want to portray a real-life character. She made it clear that she gives importance to the role being offered to her rather than the language. She is currently doing three Kannada films for S.P.R. Productions.
