To be precise, they are into aerobics to stay fit.
The glow in Ramya's face is a reflection of hard work. These days, she is working hard to loss a few kilos in order to fit into the role of her new film and she has lost eight kg so far. "I play a 17-year-old college girl in my next film, so, I had to sport a very nubile look. And I had to acquire it in a month! I couldn't afford to go to the gym because the process is quite slow. So, I joined aerobics. I've given up my comfort foods, including rice and meat," she said.
Puja of Thambi fame is another actress who is having fun working out with Ramya because they end up talking about films later. She simply loves aerobics. "I was quite plump some time ago and had to knock off weight if I had to make it big in film. When I think of the inches I'm going to lose at the end of the day, it's a different high," she said. Actress Sharmila Mandre also said that aerobics has increased her stamina besides losing weight. "Aerobics has made me a fitness fanatic and I've lost eight kgs in a month. Earlier, I'd take a break every ten minutes. Today, I'm raring to go even after an hour of non-stop working out," she revealed.
Keerthi Reddy is another actress who has taken up aerobics in spite of the hot summer. She doesn't believe in dieting but avoids junk food. "I've always been into some physical activity or the other ever since my childhood - it's either been yoga, gym or Bharatanatyam and now it's aerobics," she said.
Well, kicking around to the steps of aerobics will not only keep them fit and sexy but also come handy at some point of time. Yes, they can use the kicks and punch to scare away stalkers.
