Despite the release of many big budget films with big stars, the fortune of some of the films featuring new faces have not been affected and the success of these films have really enthused the Kannada film industry.

The audio market is also getting good response from young music lovers who are pleased with the trendy film music these days. The huge response to the audio albums of Jothe Jotheyalli and mungaru male have beaten market expectations. Infact the response for Jothe Jotheyalli in the theatres has increased after its hundredth day run.

Ganesh is already talked about the big star of the future. mungaru male directed by Yogaraj Bhat was spoken about even before the release of the film. The opening has been fantastic thanks to the charisma of Ganesh and the top line music composed by NRI music director Mano Murthy who has become a byword for consistency. Even Sixer released last week which introduced teen aged actor Prajwal Devaraj has become a big hit. .

The film Neelakanta starring Crazy Star Ravichandran who has also composed the music has been declared a big hit in the Northern Karnataka area. The collections are also good in Chitradurga and Shimoga distribution areas. . The audio was well received even before the release of the film. Malla Malla and Ammammammo have become big hits. Now audio albums and the CD's are moving fast from the shelf.
