Actor Vijay who was the target of attack from Producer-Director S. Narayan during the centenary day celebrations of Cheluvina Chiththaara says that he is totally surprised over the attack made by the director.

I want to deny all the allegations he has made. Though Narayan has not made any attack mentioning my name, I do understand from the assertions made by media friends that the alleged reference was on me. I am too small a person in this industry to be undisciplined and arrogant. What I can say now is that a few weeks back S. Narayan sir wrote an article in a film weekly praising me that I am a committed and principled actor. Within a few days of writing this article, he is now making allegations about me. I am sure that he wants to criticize me for wrong reasons. Unfortunately I have become a pawn in the fight between the producers of Yuga and S. Narayan sir who has made Chanda with me. I have worked so hard for Chanda that I participated in many risky shots in the action sequences which could have killed me or made me to lose my limbs. If this is what I have got in return for the deep interest I had shown in working for Narayan, I can only blame my bad luck' says Vijay.

Vijay is now shooting in the last lap of the shooting of Yuga which is progressing in Mysore.

Incidentally Narayan has completed the dubbing work for the film by using another voice for the character of Vijay. He is definite to release the film on November 15. The re-recording work of Chanda will be starting on October 12 and Narayan who is himself the music director of the film will be fully concentrating on getting the first print by the first week of November. The release of Yuga which was scheduled on October 15 may be delayed.
