It has fresh faces in the lead roles and fresh technicians and producers working for it. The film has been titled as Oh, Nanna Chethana which has a literary touch. But don't confuse too much. It has no connection to Dr. Kumvempu's immortal poem which starts from this most likeable line.
Well, Chethana is the name of one of the heroines of the film and that is it. Music director and lyric writer V. Manohar who has written one song for the film explained that the film has nothing to do with Kumvempu"s song.
The shooting of the film will be in highroads. And the narrative technique of the film is different in the sense, that more than half of the film is narrated in the flash back. The National Highway of Bengalooru-Mumbai will be main back drop for the film.
Vishwas who has done bit roles in many films including the recently released Thangigaagi and has been featured in many tele serials is the hero of the film. He plays the role of a lorry driver. Maithreyi and Hemaganga are the two heroines of this film. Bhaskar produces the film with Rajarathnam as the director. Kunigal Nagabhushan has written the script and Surendranath Begur is the cinematographer.
Vishwas who is striking big time with this film is happy that he is getting a good break. “I have learnt lorry driving with lot of passion as this could well be my make or break film," he said. Maithreyi aliasa Shivani has acted in a few films like Surya The Great, Mourya, Chappale and Hendthi Obbalu Maneyolagiddare. Hemaganga has already worked in the Ad films.
