2 pretty girls enter Kannada films

Two new faces were introduced to Kannada filmdom last week, Anvitha in Olave Jeevana Lekkachara and Vidya in Priyaa.

Kannada-speaking Anvitha, a Kuwaiti resident, is studying in the London Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts. Anvitha's father Sudarshan is working with the UN. She got in touch with director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar through e-mail and appeared for a screen test. Anvitha has seen most of director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar's films and is very excited about this opportunity. She is appearing opposite Srinagara Kitty in Olave Jeevana Lekkachara.

Vidya has appeared in 7 Malayalam flicks including Seetha Kalyanam and Vacation, and speaks Kannada fluently as she had done her primary education in Davanagere. Vidya got offers in Kannada earlier but wasn't enthused by them. Now she has a chance to play heroine to newcomer Soorya.
