Chaya
Singh
has
already
proved
that
she
is
a
talented
actress
down
South.
Now,
the
actress
is
going
one
step
ahead
to
prove
that
she
is
a
good
director
too.
Chaya
is
all
set
to
direct
a
bilingual
film
in
Hindi
and
English.
The
script
is
getting
finalized
and
Chaya
is
co-writing
it
with
Shreyas,
a
Bangalore-based
writer.
She
is
very
hopeful
of
getting
corporate
backing
for
her
project.
She
refused
to
reveal
details
of
the
film
but
said
that
the
story
confronts
problems
of
the
youth.
"The
film
will
be
peppy
and
will
have
a
youthful
touch," she
added.
Her
latest
film
Akasha
Gange
which
released
a
week
ago
did
not
have
a
good
opening
but
she
is
getting
rave
reviews
for
her
role.
Chaya,
who
speaks
Kannada
and
Tamil
fluently,
debuted
with
the
Kannada
film
Chitte,
but
it
was
the
Tamil
film
Thiruda
Thirudi
with
Dhanush
which
brought
her
fame.
Her
last
release
in
Tamil,
Vallamai
Tharaayo,
did
not
taste
much
success
but
earned
critical
acclaim
and
brought
her
due
recognition.
