Breathtaking locations, spectacular visuals, lilting music and a neat family story are the back bone of the film Chickamagaloora Chikkamallige directed by Chennagangappa which is now ready for release. Addressing a media conference on Monday, Channagangappa said that his confidence levels have now increased after the re-recording work and DTS recording work of the film has been completed. "The film is an effort of an excellent team work with Cameraman J.G. Krishna and music composer and lyricist K.Kalyan giving their best work in the film. And though I have introduced new artistes in the film, the two new comers did not show any nervousness on the sets. The veteran artists including C.R.Simha were extremely co-operative and their acting contributions have benefited the film' said Channagangappa.
New singers belonging to the state have been introduced by K.Kalyan in this film, but he credited this experiment totally to the producer and director of the film who showed lot of courage and commitment to promote new talents. "I hope that this trend started by 'Chickckamagaloora Chikkamallige' which has only local singers rendering play back is well encouraged by the people and even the audio companies will take notice of this effort' K.Kalyan opined.
J.G.Krishna remembered that he got his only state award for working in Channagangappa's earlier film "Nannaaseya Hoove' and said that working in this new film was also filled with lot of excitement and expectations. "Channagangappa showed me some virgin locations which have not been captured in films. It was risky to actors and technicians to shoot in such locations. But it was rewarding as now the songs look visually stronger. And shooting in these locations was the most exciting job of my career' Krishna declared.
Five songs of the film were shown to the press. New faces Shravanth, Jagadish, Radhika Gandhi, C.R.Simha, Karibasavayya were present. Aswath, the producer of the film said that the film will be a clean family entertainer with stunning visuals and good music.
