Super Star Darshan's most ambitious venture Navagraha directed by his brother Dinakar Toogudeepa is all set to be released on November 6. Navagraha has been the most anticipated film in the Kannada film industry for many reasons. The film has a huge starcast with plenty of breath-taking action sequences. Besides the seven main artistes who are the sons of prominent villains of the Kannada film industry, actresses Sharmila Mandre and Varsha are playing prominent roles in the film.
The film has been made with a huge cast and is presented as a different type of film with Darshan playing a very different type of role in his career. Of course the highlight of the film is that it features seven heroes, who are the sons of the villains in Kannada cinema and it is to the credit of a big star like Darshan to have made a film with young and not so popular heroes and giving them some prominent space in the film produced by him.
A unique feature of the film's publicity is catching the attention of the Kannada film fans. The stills of the young stars of the film along with their fathers have been prominently featured in the publicity posters of the film. Director Dinaker said that even in the film while all the seven stars are being introduced, their faces are morphed by the faces of their respective fathers. The pictures of Toogudeepa Srinivas, Tiger Prabhakar, Sundarkrishna Urs, Dinesh, Sudhir, Lokesh and Keertiraj are on the poster along with their sons Darshan, Vinod Prabhakar, Nagendra Urs, Giri, Tarun, Srujan and Dharma respectively.
