Dayal Padmanabhan ,who had started his film career as a film writer, has graduated to become a producer-director of a new film titled Circus. Golden Star Ganesh is the lead actor of this film. Archana Gupta, who had earlier done leading role in Telugu film Andamaina Manasulo directed by R.P. Patnayak, will be the heroine of this film.

The film had a colourful launch recently. Director, writer and now producer Dayal Padmanabhan is materializing his seven years dream Circus. The film is going to the floors on coming Saturday at Hotel Capital on Raj Bhavan Road, Bangalore.

Veteran film Producer Smt. Parvathamma Rajakumar lighted the lamp during the function which also launched a new company D Pictures. Rockline Venkatesh, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Dayal's mother were the other chief guests. Ganesh and Archana also shared the dais. And Dayal introduced all the technicians, who will be working in the film including Yogaraj Bhat, who will be assisting him in dialogues.

Circus has a tag line along with its title Nodi Maja Maadi. Dayaal, who spoke with emotional overtones in the film, said that he will be completing the film after sixty days of hectic schedule. "Nearly seventy percent of the shooting will be done inside a train. I had to toil hard to get the required permission for the shoot. The story starts from Mysore station and ends in Bangalore station. I have taken permission from Railway authorities to shoot the film in Railway station and tracks in Mysore, Konkar Railway and Railway line stretching in Sakleshpur and Subramanya Ghat section," said Dayaal.

Dayaal said that Circus was a seven year dream for him and he had narrated the script to many Kannada film producers and directors. "I had even briefed the subject to a top corporate film. They had even agreed to make the film, but wanted that the film's script should be changed so as a Big Bus could be used as an alternative to train. But I was not prepared for this change only because the train is a character of the film," says Dayaal.

Prominent music director Emil, who achieved big success in Nanda Nanditha, is the music director of this film. Two songs of the film will be shot abroad, said Dayaal. Avinash Bharadwaj of Radio Mirchi, Padmaja Rao, Avinash, Gurudatt, Dharma and Muni are in the supporting cast.
