Gurukiran to do more Kannada reality shows

Popular Kannada music composer Gurukiran has expressed his desire to organise more Kannada reality shows in Doordarshan. He says that he is encouraged by the popularity of the show Confident Singer, which is aired in Suvarna Channel.

Gurukiran expesses his hope by saying, "I had never expected the show Confident Singer to get me such a huge popularity. The show is a big success and it is first in the TRP rating, which has encouraged me to go further."

Presently, Gurukiran is a judge on the music and dance show in Suvarna Channel. He is waiting to release his music of the film Teertha. Directed by Sadhu Kokila, the movie stars Sudeep and Saloni in the lead. Gurukiran has also composed the music of the movies like Takat and Gulama.

I always like to compose original music. I hate steeling tunes from others. Even in remake films I prefer to compose my own original music. I use others tunes only when the director says that he needs tune the particular film. I don't like to take that credit. Gurukiran tells about his principle.
