Illiruvudu Summane to go on air

Zee Kannada is all set to launch a new mega serial Illiruvudu Summane. The serial is being directed by Prakash Belwadi of Garva fame. Parameshwar Gundkal, fiction head of Zee Kannada, said this is a story of changing India, where young Indians are voting with their feet and moving into the fast-growing metros, taking on careers that place them in a global context and building on dreams that seemed just that dreams even 10 years ago. The serial would go on air from 3rd of November, he added.

Inspired by a novel by the late Sarita Kusumakar Desai, Illiruvudu Summane takes the central problem of her plot and grows it into an urgent issue of this day and age, places it in a conflicting urban-rural, tradition-modernity and old-new context.

Illiruvudu Summane, produced by Miditech,with a mix of experience and youth in its talented cast, led by KSL Swamee (Ravee), is innovative in dialogue, look and feel with cinematic photography and lighting, music and comes with Zee Kannada's proven commitment to quality and creativity.
