Jalsa,
which
was
supposed
to
be
released
on
April
2,
has
been
requested
to
release
on
April
4,
throughout
Karnataka.
However,
the
film
will
be
released
on
2nd
April
in
A.P.,
Orissa
and
abroad.
The
decision
for
the
delay
in
the
release
of
this
big
budget
venture
was
taken
by
the
Karnataka
Film
Chamber
of
Commerce
which
wanted
all
the
non
Kannada
films
to
be
released
on
Friday.
It
was
earlier
announced
that
Jalsa,
which
has
Ileana
in
the
female
lead,
would
be
released
in
Karnataka
on
April
2.
This
is
against
the
rules
of
Karnataka
film
chamber
of
commerce.
Kannada
films
are
released
on
Thursday
or
Friday.
For
a
few
years
some
of
the
major
Telugu
films
were
released
on
Wednesay
in
Karnataka.
Then
KFCC
made
a
rule
not
to
allow
other
language
films
to
release
on
Wednesday.
Satya
In
love
producer
Ramesh
had
opposed
the
release
of
Jalsa
on
Wednesay
and
requested
KFCC
not
to
allow
more
number
of
prints
against
the
rules.
