Reliance company's music wing Big Music is entering in a big way to the Kannada film industry. Recently audio rights of many Kannada films like Shivaraj Kumar starrer Bandhu Balaga and Sudeep starrer Kaamannana Makkalu were purchased by the Reliance company. One more addition is Madesha directed by Ravi Srivatsa and produced by Goverdhan Murthy. The audio album of this Shivaraj Kumar starrer was released at Gayathri Vihar in Bangalore Palace.
The highlight of the function was every one connected to the family of Kannada Movie icon Dr. Raj Kumar were present including Shivaraj Kumar and his two brothers along with their wives. Ms. Parvathamma Raj Kumar released the album of Madesha. However, Mano Murthy the music director of Madesha was conspicuous by his absence. He was out of the country, it was explained. A video presentation of the songs and a few portions of the film were shown in the audio release function, giving a hint that the film is an action thriller with breath-taking fights and chasing sequences.
Director Ravi Srivatsa said that hatrick hero Shivaraj Kumar was mainly responsible for bringing in Mano Murthy to do music for the film. "Murthy sir had done music mostly for love-oriented and youth-oriented films. For the first time, he has worked for an action film and I am sure all the songs in the film will go down well with the audience. The songs have variety and are sure to go well with the fans," said Ravi Srivatsa.
Power Star Puneet Rajkumar said that Mano Murthy's music compositions are like slow poison and the music lovers will be attracted more and more as they start hearing the songs again and again. "I am sure Madesha songs will also prove this aspect again. I am sure that both Shivanna and Ravi Srivatsa will create a top entertainer through this film," said Puneet.
Shivaraj Kumar said that working in this film with many artistes was a real good experience for him. He said all the artistes and technicians of the film had worked with great passion and hoped that the film will bring in a big success as a reward for the hard work and efforts.
