Nee Tata Naa Birla and Meravanige releasing today
Balu Aparoopa Nam Jodi was a very popular song of the hit film Lagna Patrike starring Dr. Raj Kumar and Jayanthi in the lead. Now this song line becomes a caption for the film Nee Tata Naa Birla which will have two veteran and popular artists Crazy Star Ravichandran and Jaggesh in the lead. Nagendra Magadi has directed this comedy film Nee Tata Naa Birla which will have five heroines to add up to the glamour quotient of the film. Jogi girl Jennifer Kotwal, Mungaru Male sensation Pooja Gandhi, Nikitha, Keerthi Chawla, and Jyothi Rana are the five heroines in this film. Talented actress Urvashi is doing a special role in this film.
Dream Merchant V.Ravichandran and comedy hero Jaggesh have teamed up together to tickle our senses and bring the shutters down in the theatres through the comedy antics. Both these stars have teamed up early in many films like Gadibidi Ganda and Ramakrishna which have hit the bulls eye. Interestingly Ravichandran and Jaggesh share a good chemistry on and off screen too. It was Ravichandran who got very good breaks for Jaggesh in his films.
Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Sathyajith, Bullet Prakash, Mukyamanthri Chandru, Umesh who have made a mark in the Kannada film industry in comedy oriented characters have been featured in this film.
The popular music director Gurukiran has scored the music, while Ramesh Babu handles the camera.
Meravanige will have young Prajwal Devaraj and Andrita Ray in the leading roles. The film is directed by Mahesh Babu who has two successful films Akash and Arrasu with Puneet Raj Kumar in his kitty. Both these films were made by the Home production of Puneet, and it is for the first time that Batu is directing a film for an outside banner that features other artists. It is a big challenge for him to retain his stature.
“Meravanige is an action adventure with a little bit of romance added to it. Prajwal and Andritha Ray make a good pair and their youthful romance is bound to attract the young and peppy crowd. We have shot the film mainly in forests and to a small extent in the city backdrop. The story penned by Janardhana Maharshi has some novelty elements in it. Music director V Manohar has composed peppy and melodious tunes for the film. And with all the commercial ingredients the film is sure to become a hit" says a confident Mahesh Babu. The film is produced by Kantharaj, who was a co-producer for many films like Santha, Onkaara before.
Prajwal says that Meravanige is a different type of platform to him. “It is a thriller and I am happy to be part of this film. Babu sir has made a hundred percent entertainer with this film. There will not be a dull moment in the whole film" says Prajwal Devaraj.
