Neenyare withdrawn from theatres

By Staff

In a drastic move, Producer T. Varada Reddy and director Sindesh have withdrawn all prints of their maiden film Neenyare from theatres 10 days after its release. Varada Reddy is reportedly upset that the film is not getting collections as expected and according to Sindesh, they were forced to take the prints away since the theatres refused to give a free run for the film.

A free run is given based on the three-day average collection of a film. The producer claims that Neenyare has earned 2.24 lakhs from the first three days which is more than the needed amount. The 100th film of music director V. Manohar, Neenyare has Suraj as hero and debutants Ramya Barne and Sambrama as heroines. The film was released on 19th December with 17 prints.

Now the producers are considering a re-release of the film in January next year.
