Actors Devaraj, Bharat Bhagavathar and the entire team of Prachada Ravana looked extremely relieved when they faced the Press on the eve of its release. Prasad, the director of the film was quite optimistic of the film, which he said is would give enlightenment and entertainment to the audience. And Devaraj was also happy that he was able to rise up to the challenge of performing a role that created a legendary actor like Vajramuni.
The entire unit of Prachanda Ravana were excited about their first attempt in introducing the digital technology in the making of this mythological film, which came out good. "Technically it was a path breaking experiment. But we are happy that the film rocks on the technical side," explained Srinivasa Prasad. Actress Rajeshwari plays the female lead in this film produced by Girish and Lokesh.
Devaraj said that he had lots of apprehension before accepting this offer, as the drama's popularity had reached epic heights because of the efforts of the writer and director Late Prabhakara Shashtri and Actor Vajramuni."Vajranna had struck the chord of the people with his performance. I would not have dared to act in this role if he was alive. But since many people who participated in the SMS campaign had suggested my name, I was enthused. And the entire team of Prachanda Ravana including director Prasad convinced me to take up this challenge. And after participating in the shooting of the film, I gained confidence," said Devaraj.
Bharat Bhagawathar who had played the role of Anjaneya in the film said that he was inspired by his Guru Late Udayakumar, who had done this role very well in the film Ramaanjaneya Yudhdha.
The film is getting released on May 23.
