Finally Trisha confirms to act in Kannada

Finally, Telugu actress Trisha has agreed to appear on Kannada screen. She is going to act in Rasagulla director Govardhan's forthcoming film. Mahesh Babu-Trisha starrer movie Athadu was the hit biggest at the Telugu Box Office. Now the movie is remade in Kannada.

The South Indian beauty had earlier refused an offer to act in Yogaraj Bhat's Kannada film Lagori. She said, "I was the heroine in Telugu movie Athadu and the role in the movie was my favourite role. I have no problem to play the same role in Kannada version also. I will check my dates and let you know about my availability. The storyline of the movie is really good and I am sure that the movie will be superhit in Kannada also.

Govardhan said that the movie would be made with the budget of Rs 6 crores and either Puneet Rajkumar or Dharshan would be the hero of the movie. According to the dates of the actors, the hero would be confirmed. Telugu movie Athadu was made with the budget of Rs 25 crores. It had got many awards in Andra Pradesh.
