Upendra starrer "Budhdhivantha' has finished its shooting portions and the production work is in full swing. Recently a song of the film featuring Upendra and Saloni was shot in China. Producers Mohan and Shankaregowda had organised a press conference recently to provide information about the film's progress. This was the first media conference of the film unit.
Upendra said shooting for a song in China was a new experience and the country has some amazing out door spots. China is now opening up and is prepared to allow shooting work of films. Now, slowly many Indian films have started shooting their song and sequences in various parts of China. We had planned to shoot this song in China in the beginning, but later we thought of this ideal place' added Upendra.
Upendra said that the producers have not compromised anything during the making of the film. Ramnath Rigwedhi has returned to direction after a long gap and has worked hard to make this film and the songs have come out very well, he added.
Ramanath Rigwedhi said that he has taken the knot of Tamil film "Naan Avanillai' directed by K.Balachandar some twenty two years ago and made some alterations in the narration. He said Upendra has taken interest in performing this challenging role. He said there are five heroines in the film including Pooja Gandhi, Nethanya and Brunda.
