Abhiyum Naanum to be remade in Kannada

One more super-hit Tamil movie Abhiyum Naanum is being remade in Kannada. The movie was produced by actor Prakash Raj and directed by Radha Mohan in Tamil. Prakash Raj himself had played a pivotal role in the movie. Later, the movie was remade in Telugu as Akasamantha and successful in Telugu also.

Now, the movie Abhiyum Naanum is being remade in Kannada. Prakash Raj will produce, direct and also act in the movie. In the original, Prakash Raj and Trisha had played father and daughter. Now he will again play the father and Golden girl Ramya will play his daughter in Kannada.

The movie is not titled yet. The selection of other casts is presently going on. The movie has been inspired by the English movie Father of The Bride. After long time, Prakash Raj is set to appear on the Kannada screen. However, he is also playing the brother of actress Andrita Ray in Loose Mada a.k.a. Yogish starrer Kannada movie Dhool.
