In
an
important
development,
Kannada
actor
Ambareesh
has
reportedly
said
that
he
has
excused
comedian
Jaggesh.
And
he
has
assured
that
there
won't
be
any
protest
against
the
release
of
his
movie
Eddelu
Manjunatha
from
his
fans.
Earlier,
the
producers
of
the
movie
had
met
Karnataka
Film
Chamber
of
Commerce
(KFCC)
and
requested
it
to
talk
to
Ambareesh
fans,
as
they
had
planned
to
create
trouble
for
the
release
of
the
movie.
However,
Jaggesh
had
irked
the
fans
of
Ambareesh
by
making
a
bad
comment
about
him
during
a
Parliamentary
Election
2009
campaign.
The
fans
had
held
a
protest
march.
They
had
urged
the
actor
to
beg
the
apology
of
their
hero.
But
fans
were
cooled
down
when
Ambi
did
not
take
his
comments
seriously.
Recently,
BR
Shrinivas,
the
president
of
Ambareesh
Fans
Association,
had
held
a
press
meet.
He
said,
"We'll
stop
the
screening
of
Jaggesh
starrer
movie
Eddelu
Manjunatha
in
all
the
theatres
in
Karnataka.
I'll
not
tell
you
how
we
will
stop
the
release." He
further
said
that
they
would
even
stop
the
release
of
Jaggesh's
son
starrer
movie
Gilli.
In
an
interview
to
TV
9,
the
president
of
KFCC,
Dr.
Jayamala
said,
"I've
already
spoken
to
Ambareesh
and
tried
to
convince
him
about
the
present
sad
condition
of
Kannada
film
industry.
Ambi,
who
has
helped
many
actors
to
come
up
in
the
industry,
has
said
that
he
will
make
sure
that
his
fans
will
not
create
any
trouble
for
the
screening
of
the
movie
Eddelu
Manjunatha."
However,
director
Guruprasad
had
blamed
Jaggesh's
political
activities
for
the
delay
of
the
movie
Eddelu
Manjunatha.
But
the
actor
had
denied
his
claims
by
stating
that
the
movie
started
shooting
in
November
2007,
was
completed
in
eight
months
and
he
dubbed
his
voice
for
the
film
in
July
2008.
Finally,
the
movie
has
got
ready
to
release
on
July
17.
Let
us
wish
Jaggy
good
luck
for
his
Eddelu
Manjunatha.
