Amrita rao to debut in Kannada film

Bollywood actress Amrita Rao, who is born in Chitrapur, Karnataka, is all set to debut in Kannada film. Earlier she has acted with Mahesh Babu in Telugu movie Athidhi. Except this movie, she has not acted in any other South Indian movie. Now she will act in Kannada movie Naticharami, a remake of her hit Bollywood movie Vivah.

The movie will be produced by Jayaprakash Reddy under the banner JPR Production and directed by Krishnabramha, whose movie Yajna is set to release. Naticharami will feature newcomer Niran apposite Amrita Rao, who will play a gorgeous role. The movie will be shot at a time in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil and the shooting will start from 6 January, says director Krishnabramha.

According to sources, the actress will be paid more than Rs. 55 Lakhs for the movie. However, the director has refused to reveal the exact figure. Now Amrita is in very much demand. She has acted with Shahrukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Ajay Devgan. She will bring her own make up and dress designer artists. The director is very happy to work with her.

The actress entered the Bollywood movie through Ab Ke Baras and she has acted in Ishq Vishq, Masti, Pyaare Mohan and many. Mai Hun Na, Vivah and Welcome to Sajjanpur are her hit movies. She has got two Film fare Awards, Zee Cine Award, Star Screen Award, Star Dust Award and including Dada Saheb Palke Award.
