The rain song in Junglee in which Aindrita daringly transforms into a glamour goddess has made the actress the talk of the town. Moreover, offers are pouring from all quarters. There were rumours that she would be seen in Upendra"s Rajini but she reportedly refused and Aarti Chabria was selected in her place.
Many were surprised that Andrita rejected the offer to act with Uppi. But she clarified that she had date problems which forced her to decline. “I was committed to Yograj Bhat"s Manasare when the Rajini offer came to me. I"d have loved to do it, but I can"t juggle two films at the same time. Yograj Bhat is my favorite director. And working with him is top priority. He"s one of the best directors we have," she said.
Manasare wil be produced by Rockline Venkatesh, the producer of Junglee. Andrita is full of praise for him, saying, "Rockline is a thorough professional. There are no hassles, no payment issues and the comfort level on the sets is amazing. Especially when it comes to payment, you don"t have to make umpteen calls to receive it. It promptly comes home."
Andrita has the meaty role of a mentally-challenged girl in Manasare and she is very happy with this different role after Junglee.
