Andrita Ray:The New Trouble Poker

Sandalwood is being rocked by a remuneration controversy these days. The heroine of the story is none other than Andrita Ray, who recently denied any association with the forthcoming Nannavanu. She said that she has not received her remuneration yet hence she has withdrawn from the film.

Srinivas Raju, director of Nannavanu, is astonished at Andrita's outrageous statement. Srinivas says Nannavanu has completed shooting in October 2008 and there is no point in Andrita denying her association with the film. He admits Andrita was not paid her full remuneration, but she was not also punctual in keeping her dates. She did not turn up for a song shooting in Shimoga. He had hired 100 dancers but since Andrita did not turn up, the shooting had to be abandoned incurring a loss of Rs. 3 lakhs.

Now what is Andrita's reaction to this? Andrita switches tracks, blames her manager for messing her dates and says that she knows nothing about this!
