Apparently, it was Ganesh"s wife Shilpa who gave the idea of the film. Shilpa suggested that if they have to make a super hit film, it should be a comedy, not a tearjerker. The film"s budget is set at Rs. 6 crores, which includes Ganesh"s remuneration. Although Aramane was a hit and ran for more than 100 days, Nagashekhar and Ganesh were not very happy since they expected the film to be a bigger hit. The two then had a discussion to see what went wrong and came to the conclusion that although Aramane had all the right elements, the film was not packaged well.
So this time, Ganesh and Nagashekhar are not leaving any stone unturned and Murali Mohana... will have all the elements in the correct proportion. Also, Ganesh will concentrate more on how to market the film in a different and effective way.
The rest of the cast apart from Ganesh are yet to be decided.
