Jothegara delayed for not paying IDBI loan

Recently, Ramya-Prem starrer movie Jothegara was in news after Ganesh Kasargod and other senior journalists boycotted the its press meet. Now it's making a big news again after it was not released on 5 June for not paying IDBI loan. The IDBI has told the movie bosses to pay the loan else it will stop the release of the movie.

The communication gap between actress Ramya and director Ashwini Ram Prasad had lead the movie to face hard times earlier. Now Jothegara is stuck in IDBI loan Gotala. According to Kannada film industry sources, IDBI has given Rs. 2.5 crores loan to Jothegara movie makers. Now the IDBI bank has urged the makers of the movie unless they pay the loan, it will not let the movie to release.

Jothegara is the fifth movie to be trapped in IDBI loan case. SV Rajendra Singh Babu directed Tipparalli Tarlegalu (featuring S Narayan, Komal Kumar, Om Praksh Rao), another SV Rajendra Singh Babu directed Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids (featuring Upendra, Parvati Melton, Ramya), Darshan starrer Boss, Puneet Rajkumar-Nisha Kothari starrer Raaj the Show Man (directed by Prem) are also delayed for not paying the loan.

Earlier, it was announced that the movie Jothegara would release on fifth June. But it has disappointed the moviegoers, who were eagerly waiting to watch the movie on 5th June. Actor Prem said that the movie posters were not pasted on the wall due to this obstacle. So there were no posters announcing the date of release in Bangalore.

However, sources claim that the movie Jothegara will not release until its loan is paid.
