Darshan
Darshan
had
a
rocking

year
in
Sandalwood
and
Gaja

film
in

to

Darshan's

Arjun,
were
average
grossers
Navagraha,
which
was
released
at
end
of
2008,
again

the
top

the

Ganesh
This
year,
we
saw
Ganesh

romantic

and
treading

of
his
colleagues
to
become

action
star

Bombaat.
But
unfortunately,
the
audience
couldn't
identify
with
his
new
image
and

rejected
the
film.

Ganesh

at

spot
with

hit
Galipata
and
the
average
hit
Aramane
which
were
released
in
the
first
half
of
2008.
Sangama,
released
in
November,
also
became
a
hit.

Sudeep
With
Ram
Gopal
Varma's
Phoonk,
Sudeep
proved
that
he
is
not
just
confined
to
Sandalwood,
he
has
the
talent
and
will
to
go
national.
The
film
was
a
huge
hit
all
over
India
and
he
has
now
become
a
favorite
of
Ramu.
But
Sudeep
was
not
behind
anyone
in
delivering
hits
on
his
home
front
too.
Mussanje
Maathu
became
one
of
the
biggest
hits
of
the
year
with
Mast
Maja
Maadi
(released
a
couple
of
weeks
ago)
doing
well
in
the
box

Puneeth
Rajkumar
Puneeth
is
the
darling
of
the
masses
and
he
has
proved
it
again
in
2008.
First
it
was
Bindaas
which
became
a
hit
then
came
Vamshi
which
started
with
one
of
the
biggest
opening
collection
figures
of
all
time.
The
film,
with
the
right
combination
of
action
and
music
became
a
rage
among
the
youth
and
is
still
running
successfully.
5.
Upendra
This
actor-director,s
known
as
a
real
star
among
fans,
thrilled
the
audience
with
Budhivantha.
A
huge
hit,
the
film
presented
him
in
five
different
get
ups;
his
style
and
punch
dialogues
won
him
many
fans.
On
a
lighter
note,
Uppi
also
appeared
in
an
item
song
in
Mast
Majaa
Madi
with
10
heroines
of
Sandalwood.
