Mukhaputa to be screened in International Film Fest

Director Roopa Iyer"s Kannada movie Mukhaputa has already been selected for screening in many International Film Festivals. The movie produced by American-based India Classic Arts. Now the movie Mukhaputa is set to be screened at International Film Festivals in Ireland, South Africa, Wales, Egypt and Thailand.

However, more than 600 movies from various regions of different countries were nominated for the screening at International Film Festivals. But only seven movies have been selected in the final round and Kannada Mukhaputa is one among them. The story of the movie Mukhaputa is about the HIV- (AIDS) affected people.

The audio of Mukhaputa was released by comedy actor Jaggesh in a function held at Ravindra Kala Kshethra, Bangalore. Talking about the songs of the movie, Roopa Iyer says, “Many cine experts had suggested me to remove the songs before send it to the film fests. But we had sent the movie without cutting songs. Our movie got selected because of its title and songs."
