Ranganath comes to know that Lalitanandamayi is absconding from the Ashram. He finds all the treasures of the Ashram empty. He is shocked. He asks his pupil to catch Lalli immediately. Later he comes to know that she has taken away the car also. He decides to catch Pategara in order to know the truth and sets out for the same.

Ranganath thrashes Pategara, but he says that he does not have any idea where she is hiding. He says that Sudhindra must be knowing the truth. Then Ranganath asks Sudhindra. Though he has helped her to escape, he says that he does not know anything about her. While Ranganath is confused not knowing what to do, Sudhindra thinks that she might help him to get released from the Ashram.

Shashikala and Chandru Ranibennur come to meet Hosamane Sadananda. He tells them that they are pretending like the parents of a child and the child will not saved. They are all shocked. He further says that he will not let the lady, who has slapped him, lead a happy life.
