Kavita Bailhongal comes to Kalyani's house, where she finds her mother-in-law. She says that she is Lalita's mother and she has come in search of her daughter, who has run away from her home. Creating a cock and bull story, she weeps bitterly. Baffled Kalyani's mother-in-law says that she stayed in her for a few days and now she has gone to meet Sukanya with Kalyani.

Kavita goes back to Hosamane's home and she keeps him informed about Lalita's movements. He does not believe that she has been to Sukanya's home due to her bad habits. Kavita gives another idea to him to find out her. He orders others to follow her idea.

Bhaktanachiketa, who is very angry with Hosamane, meets Nandita. He says that she has stopped him as not to fight with Hosamane last time. But none can stop him this time. He wants to finish off Hosamane. Nandita argues him that none can beat Hosamane. She herself will do that work.

Kavita and Hosamane's goons visit Megha's home in disguise of income tax officers. They try to find out whether Lalita is hiding in her home, but they come to know that she is not there. When they are about to leave the home, Gangavva and Megha's father-in-law stop them and ask to provide government order to raid the house. But they walk out without heeding them.
