Kannada
actress
Ramya
has
ruled
out
co-director
Suresh
Raj's
claims
that
she
attempted
to
commit
suicide
on
the
sets
of
Sudeep
starrer
movie
Just
Maath
Maathalli
(Just
Mat
Matalli).
The
actress
said
that
she
fainted
after
consuming
tablets
for
a
migraine
attack.
Earlier,
co-director
Suresh
Raj
had
claimed
that
Ramya
attempted
suicide
as
the
dance
sequence
shots
were
not
turning
out
well.
Talking
to
Bangalore
Mirror,
Ramya
said:
"Why
should
I
attempt
suicide?
I
took
tablets
for
migraine.
As
I
had
to
do
several
takes,
I
fainted
on
the
sets."
She
added,
“On
Thursday,
evening
I
had
taken
prescription
for
migraine
from
my
doctor
Chouti
in
Mallya
Hospital.
I
told
producer
Shankre
that
I
will
have
to
take
the
tablet
by
9.30
pm
and
that
would
knock
me
out.
I
took
the
tablet
in
front
of
him,
but
he
insisted
that
I
participate
in
the
shooting
for
just
five
minutes," Ramya
said.
The
actress
has
claimed
that
she
was
not
given
he
due
respect.
She
was
made
to
stand
for
30
minutes
without
the
shot
being
called
for.
So
the
tablet
took
its
effect.
She
said
further
to
Bangalore
Mirror,
“I
will
henceforth
work
with
people,
who
respect
women
and
who
can
work
as
a
team.
Even
if
I
am
paid
a
million
bucks
and
given
a
good
script
I
will
not
work
with
such
people."
Ramya
slammed
the
KFDA
and
choreographer
insisting
Harsha
has
filed
a
false
complaint
against
her
and
the
Association
has
taken
wrong
decision
based
on
his
complaint.
Neither
she
has
insulted
his
assistant
Mohana
nor
abused
any
of
her
fellow
dancers.
“I
missed
my
lyric
as
my
hair
obscured
my
face
and
I
wanted
a
re-shoot.
It
was
Harsha
who
said
that
he
would
use
that
shot
even
if
we
take
a
re-shoot.
As
an
actor
don"t
I
have
the
right
to
ask
for
another
take?
The
assistant
was
being
constantly
corrected
by
Harsha
so
I
asked
him
to
pick
up
the
corrections
and
then
teach
me," Bangalore
Mirror
quotes
Ramya
saying.
“I
am
here
to
learn
and
they
are
supposed
to
teach
me.
I
cannot
stoop
to
such
a
level
as
to
speak
rudely
with
others.
My
problem
was
only
with
Harsha
and
not
with
the
dancers.
And
I
did
not
even
speak
to
Harsha
about
it," she
added.
However,
Harsha"s
complaint
against
Ramya
has
been
signed
by
the
dancers.
The
interesting
fact
about
it
is
that
about
60
members
of
the
film
crew
have
also
signed
on
the
complained,
which
also
includes
the
signature
of
director-actor
Sudeep,
co-directors
and
the
cameraman
of
the
film.
It
is
said
that
all
other
technicians
of
the
film
were
also
upset
with
Ramya"s
behaviour.
