Ramya struggling to become No 1 again

After actress Pooja Gandhi occupying Ramya's No 1 Actress position in Kannada films in 2008, she has not been able to sleep comfortably. She has faced many bitter experience in the year despite her movies Anthu Inthu Preeti Bantu and Bombat doing well at the Box Office.

According to the sources, Ramya's image in Kannada is deteriorating day by day and many projects have gone out of her hands. But she is very much in demand in Tamil film industry for her latest Tamil movie Varanam Aayiram has become super hit at the Box Office. She has become hot property in Tamil films.

However, she wants to reclaim her No 1 position in Kannada. She is struggle hard to rock the industry again. Two of her movies Jothegara and Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids are all set to release this month. Presently, the actress is busy with Kadhal To Kalyanam and she has already signed to play in five other movies. She will play the lead lady in Moggina Manasu director Shashank's next movie and also act alongside actor Chetan in Aa Dinagalu director Chaitany's forthcoming flick.

Besides, Ramya has got Bharath and Sudeep's movies. It is said that she will act in the movie of Gurudutt, who is remaking a Tamil Movie in Kannada. SM Sathya has reportedly selected Ramya for his next movie. Overall, it seems that Ramya is sure to retain her No 1 position in 2009.
