Rutva riding high after Jolly Days

Rutva indeed had a jolly time acting for Jolly Days. The lovely actress, studying through a correspondence course, was missing attending college in person; that is when Jolly Days, a campus story happened. There was no end to her happiness when she got to work inside a real campus with seven like-minded youngsters. The film, released a few weeks ago, received rave reviews and good collections.

The shooting of Rutva"s next film Jeeva has been completed recently and it is now in the post production stage. Prajwal Devaraj is the hero. Jeeva is based on a true incident in the life of debut director Prabhu Srinivas. Prabhu developed his story around the incident and wrote a script which producer Paramesh loved and right away agreed to make into a film.

If Rutva appeared as an engineering student in Jolly Days, Jeeva will show her in the more sober role of a homely girl. Rutva welcomes the change as she is a person who loves to do different roles and does not want to be typecast.
