Sanket's Naa Tukaram Alla in Ranga Shankara

Kannada actor Shankar Nag's dream child Sanket has contributed many wonderful plays to Kannada theatre. Now Sanket troupe is coming up with another play called 'Naa Tukaram Alla', which is written and directed by S Surendranath. The play will be exhibited from July 2 to 5 at Ranga Shankara, Bangalore.

S Surendranath's 'Naa Tukaram Alla' is an adaptation of Herb Gardener's 'I am not Rappoport'. It is a comedy play and it deals with the life of two old aged persons. The play throws light on the life of common man in the modern world. B Suresh, Enagi Nataraj, Balaji Manohar, Megha Nadiger and Sihikahi Chandru are in the cast.

Sanket is the troupe started by Arundhati and Shankar Nag along with a motley group of theatre enthusiasts - S Surendranath, Ramesh Bhatt, Sundashri, Jagdish Malnad, etc. The group is into serious theatre along with films and TV. Sanket has given several hit plays in Kannada - Nagamandala and Anju Mallige, Hasirele Hannele, Aata Bombata, Nodi Swamy Naavirode Heege etc.
