Sharmila
Mandre
had
to
face
critics
for
looking
plump
in
the
recent
film
Shivamani.
But
she
is
making
a
stunning
come
back
through
a
sensuous
song
in
her
upcoming
film
Venkata
in
Sankata.
In
the
film,
Sharmila
is
featured
in
a
wet
sari
sequence
but
actress
vows
that
the
song
will
not
term
her
as
sexy.
She
says
that
the
song
is
picturised
so
aesthetically
that
no
one
will
ever
think
of
it
as
sexy
or
vulgar.
Watching
a
rain
song
sequence
in
movie
is
really
fun
but
shooting
for
it
is
not
so
fun,
says
Sharmila.
She
got
very
drenched
while
shooting
and
things
got
worse
since
she
is
allergic
to
rain.
But
Ramesh
Aravind,
the
director
of
the
film
was
very
understanding
and
gave
her
time
to
dry
off
before
each
shot.
Ramesh
too
is
full
of
praise
for
Sharmila
for
co-operating
wonderfully
especially
in
the
rain
sequences
which
he
says
can
be
painful
for
the
actresses
to
do.
Sharmila
debuted
in
Kannada
with
Sajini
and
has
acted
in
several
film
like
E
Bandhana,
Krishna,
Navagraha
and
Shivamani.
