Darshan rechristens Shivaraj as 'Century Hero'

Hatrick hero Shivaraj Kumar has been rechristened as Century Hero. Yes, this title was given to Shivaraj by none other than Challenging star Darshan at the Audio release function of Cheluveye Ninna Nodalu. He said that it was time Hatrick hero Shivanna who will be crossing the century mark be rechristened as Century Hero. Fans of Shivaraj Kumar and Darshan shouted the slogan praising Shivanna.

Actor Sudeep who was also present at the function said that he is a big fan of Shivraj Kumar. He recalled the incident when he was injured in amongst the huge crowd gather to watch Om and asked Shivanna to make another hit movie like a Om. Sudeep continued by saying that "Reshme Battegalannu haakuvudu kadime maadali" which means let Shivanna cuts down on his sentimental roles.

Shivaraj Kumar had made his debut in Anand (1986) which became a blockbuster followed by super hits Rathasapthami and Manamecchida Hudugi. The back to back hits fetched him the title 'Hatrick Hero'. Real star Upendra's Om gave a new look to Shivaraj Kumar, from then on Shivaraj Kumar became a brand for rowdy movies. Shivaraj Kumar's 100th movie will be Jogayya which is directed and produced by Prem.
