Jayamala's daughter teams up with Chiranjeevi

After lots of speculation, KFCC President Dr. Jayamala's daughter Soundarya is finally set to debut in Kannada films. It is said that Soundarya will be seen alongside actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, who entered Kannada with Vayuputra. The untitled Kannada film will be directed by Mahesh Babu and produced by Bharath.

It was said earlier that Soundarya would make her big screen debut opposite Puneet Rajkumar in Yogaraj Bhat's much-hyped project Lagori. But the movie was shelved due to monetary problem. Later, it was also reported that she was making her debut in a Telugu film.

Soundarya had got many plump offers, but she had refused them because her mother Jayamala was very particular on picking the right launch pad for her daughter. But Soundarya has finally decided to start acting career with a Mahesh Babu's film.

The untitled Kannada film is said to be a romantic entertainer. Director Mahesh Babu and producer Bharath have planned to cast two bright talents from filmi families to ensure enough curiosity. Mahesh has already introduced actresses like Ramya and Andrita Ray to Sandalwood.

However, producer Bharath has asserted that the yet-to-be titled movie has got a big plan with a big team. But he declines to confirm anything until he makes an official announcements within a week.
