For the first time, Kannada actor Sudeep, who is acting as well as directing the Kannada movie Just Maath Maathalli, has reportedly planned to direct a Bollywood movie. Sudeep will remake Just Maath Maathalli in Hindi. He will not act in the Hindi version, but only direct the movie. Either Shahid Kapoor or Ritesh Deshmukh will be roped in for hero role in the movie.
When Just Maath Maathalli started shooting, Sudeep realised his dream of acting in his own directed movie. Now his another dream, which is to direct a Bollywood movie, is coming true after he decided to remake Just Maath Maathalli in Hindi. "Both Shahid Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh are suitable for the hero role in the movie. Anyone will be selected as per their available dates," says Sudeep.
Sudeep further says, "Except two songs, we have completed the shooting of the movie Just Maath Maathalli. Soon the film crew will leave for Germany to shoot the songs. I'm really happy that a Kannada movie is attracting Bollywood audience even before its release. With the guidance of Ram Gopal Varma, I hope to shoot my first Bollywood venture."
However, Sudeep has already acted in RGV directed Phoonk and Rann. RGV will definitely help him in remaking Just Maath Maathalli in Hindi. But he will not engage in the shooting of the movie. "Just Maath Maathalli is a love story and RGV will never direct such a movie. But he will help me to remake it in Bollywood," says Sudeep.
Movie Just Maath Maathalli is Sudeep's fourth directorial venture. Including Veera Madakari, all the previous three movies are remake movies. He says that making original movie is easier than remake. But a good story should be there. After the release of movie Just Maath Maathalli in October, the remake will starts shooting.
