Bijapur Bulls team started hair-raising fashion show in Bangalore yesterday. The fashion show was organized at Hotel Chancellery Pavilion Bangalore. Director R Sudhalakshmi had taken the responsibility of organizing the event. Actress Suman Ranganathan started event with her catwalk on the ramp.
In Mangalore, former cricketer Charu Sharma released the logo of the team yesterday evening. Santosh Menon, the secretary of Mangalore United team, was present on the occasion. Meanwhile, the selection of talented cricket players was also started on the occasion.
The selection committee comprising former cricketers like Surendra and Fazal Khaleel has received application from 1,000 candidates. Out of them, 54 players would be selected and they will be divided into four teams. A competition will be held among the four teams. Surendra and Fazal Khaleel will pick the most eligible players and form a team.
The Davangere Diamonds team has signed actress Bhavana, who is basically from Davangere, as the Ambassador of the team. The team has decided to attract the cricket lovers through her. “The selection of the players for the team has already been going. We have selected actress Bhavana as the ambassador of the team," says Shamnoor Shivashankarappa, the owner of the Davangere Diamonds team.
Now, different teams of Karnataka Premiere League (KPL) are trying their best to attract the cricket lovers in different way. Bijapur Bulls team has organized a ramp show; Mangalore United team has started a talent hunt programme; Davangere Diamonds team has signed actress Bhavana as the Ambassador of the team.
