Upendra faces financial crisis

Superstar Upendra is reportedly going by very bad times. Uppi is facing a financial crisis with the producers of Dubabi Babu, Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids and Rajini. After the failure of the movie Dubabi Babu, the producers are said to be looking back to pay him full payment, which has been fixed in the agreements.

Producer Shailendra Babu had agreed to pay Rs. 80 Lakhs to Uppi to act in Dubai Babu. The movie has become utter plop at the Box Office. According to Gandhinagar sources, Shailendra Babu has faced the loss of Rs. 3 crores. But Upendra is not worried about the failure of the movie.

Upendra is acting in Rajendra Singh Babu"s Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids. Now he has denied attending the dubbing work of the movie, because the producer has not paid his remaining Rs. 30 Lakhs. He has stated that now he does not have money and he would pay the amount after the release of the movie.

However, the Kannada actor has lodged a complaint against the producer at Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. But everyone at KFCC was touched by the bad financial condition of the producer and suggested Uppi to attend the dubbing work of the movie. Sources say that he could have got his money if he had silently attended the work, but after creating so much of controversy, he is not sure to get it.

Upendra is acting in another movie Rajini, which is produced by Ramu. Earlier, Producer Ramu had agreed to give Rs. 90 Lakhs for him. But after the failure of Dubai Babu, he has said that Rs. 40 Lakhs, which he has given as token advance, is the final payment for him. Now a cold war is going on between Upendra and Ramu.

Earlier, payment of actor like Dr. Rajkumar used to be fixed after completing the shooting and dubbing work. He had the confidence that his movie would rock the audience. Now, Upendra does not have the confidence that his movie will run and get back the producer"s amount. So he wants to collect his complete payment before the dubbing work. Even Dr. Vishnuvardhan will attend the dubbing work after getting his full payment.
