Dr. Vishnuvardhan wears Rudraksha Mala

Once, Sahasa Simha Dr. Vishnuvardhan had said that he would always wear Navaratna Mala (a string of nine precious stones). Except shooting of his movie, the Navaratna Mala used to be hanging in his neck on all cinema functions and other public occasions. Now, he has changed the mala and he wears Rudraksha Mala.

"I've put on Rudraksha Mala on the advice of my guruji and there is no other reason behind it. Both Rudraksha Mala and Navaratna Mala are symbols of religious conviction. I don"t wear the mala to get any fortune. It is symbol of religious faith, which is also a kind of fashion," says Vishnu.

"I don"t wear it for fashion or to show my spirituality. I just wear the mala to follow the advice of my guruji. One of the Rudraksha is covered with golden layer. The intention behind it is to concentrate the power of Rudraksha Mala inside the golden layer," he explained further.

Vishnu gives more importance and respect to the bracelet in his left hand than any fashion or spirituality. He always wears a steel bracelet, which was gifted by a fan to him while shooting the movie Sahasa Simha. By showing the steel bracelet in all his movies, he has created his own style.
