Director Yogaraj Bhat, who is busy with Diganth-Andrita Rai starrer movie Manasare, has said that the people in his village believe that he is big producer. And they think that the director has earned nearly Rs. 100 crores from the successful movies like Mungaru Male and Gaalipata.

In an interview to Bangalore Mirror, Yogaraj Bhat says that he is basically from a small village called Tilagalli, Hanagal in Haveri district. In his village, many people do not understand the difference between director and producer. They think that he is a big producer and they are angry with him for not building any school or temple for his native. "But situation is different in Bangalore. I'm leading a life of beggar," he says with heavy heart.

"I have my own principles to do a movie. Our film industry is totally different from Telugu and Tamil film industry. Movies will be made with a hope on middle and lower class people in Telugu and Tamil. They learn their art, culture and literature from them. But the scene in Kannada film industry is total opposite to that," says the director.

However, Yogaraj Bhat has competed the shooting of movie Manasare except the shooting of the songs. The movie has been shot in beautiful locations. It features Diganth and Andrita Rai in the lead roles.
