Yogish Hunsur comesback through Ravan

Yogish Hunsur is making a comeback to direction after a 6 year gap with Ravan, remake of the Tamil film Kadhal Kondein. There is little wonder why the director chose young Yogish to play the lead role in Ravan (played by Dhanush in the original). Yogish has a striking resemblance to Dhanush in terms of physique, looks and type of roles that he has been doing. Ravan is Yogish's sixth film.

Uday K. Mehta and Mohan G. Nayak produce Ravan and Sanchitha Padukone from Mangalore is the heroine. Sanchitha has acted in Tamil film Mutalgi opposite Uday earlier. For acting in Ravan, she has undergone special training for two months in Bangalore. (No, she is not related in any way to Deepika Padukone.)

Yogish will also be the hero in the remake of Polladhavan, another Dhanush film.
