Chetan's Suryakanti releasing on January 14

Chetan-Regina starrer movie Suryakanti is all set to release on January 14 for this Sankranthi. Chetan and Chaitanya, who had created a buzz with their maiden movie Aa Dingalu, is now coming back together again with this movie. It has been presented by M Vasu produced by Manjunath and Jagannath under the banner Avigna Media Productions.

The movie Suryakanti has been shot for 70 days. Some of the dance and fight sequences have been shot in the cities like Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkhand and in the snow capped mountains of Chemgan using native dancers and stuntmen. KY Narayana Swamy has written the story screenplay and dialogues for the film, which has all the commercial elements like love story, family sentiment, action, comedy and good music, says director Chaitanya.

Maestro Ilayaraja has scored music for the lyrics of Yogaraj Bhat, Jayant Kaikini and K Kalyan and Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala, Karthik and others have sung them. The music of the movie was recently launched on-air on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. The movie has some melodious songs and one of the songs is inspired by sixties Broadway musical.

The movie Suryakanti has Haridas KGF's editing, Dinesh Mangalore's art direction, HC Venu's camera work and Ravivarma's stunts. Actor Chetan Kumar and actress Regina Cassandra have played the lead roles. Tamil actor Nasir, Ramkrishna, Kishori Ballal, Asif and Bollywood actor Ganesh Yadav are in other cast.
